This is just a fun movie which revisits the Ewoks introduced in Return of the Jedi, but don't expect a movie anything like the Star Wars series. This movie was made to appeal to young children. The movie centers around Cindel. She is with her family who have been stranded on Endor and are living with the Ewoks while her father repairs their spaceship. Just as he is about to get it repaired an army of Marauders led by King Terak and Charal attack the Ewoks village and kill Cindel's parents and older brother. King Terak wants "the power" from the star ship, believing that the crystal which powers the ship has some mystical power. Cindel and her Ewok friend Wicket are captured but escape before reaching the castle. In the forest they meet Teek (a strange but very fast creature) who leads them to a small house where Noa lives. Noa is reluctant at first but eventually does let Cindel and Wicket stay. However, Charal finds Cindel and takes her to the castle believing she can unlock the power in the crystal. It is up to Noa, Teek and Wicket to rescue them and the Ewoks captured earlier in the movie. Once rescued, Noa, Teek, Cindel and the Ewoks must battle King Terak and his army of Marauders.
As I mentioned earlier, this is just a fun movie for children, although a little violent, and does start with the main character loosing her family. It is still the basic good fights evil plot. The following captures are a bit poor due to being made from a very old tape which spent several years in storage.
